Energy Saving Education

Before one considers investing in any of the technologies we offer, it is a good idea to understand as much as you can. When it comes to solar, there are a lot of questions and some misinformation out there. I have included helpful links for one to refer to in order to learn more about the history of solar, how solar works and glossary of terms.

There are many sources with wonderful information and we encourage anyone considering solar to review all the information available and to call as many companies for a consultant before choosing an energy provider.

The owner of Complete Green Systems, Coy W. Jamerson, III is an electrical instructor, specializing in Solar PV installation at the renowned Tom Henry’s Code Electrical School, Solar Source Institute, and certain Colleges in the State.

Only contract with a company who meets the following important criteria:

They are not an integrator, but a FULL service company
Is Licensed by the State of Florida and carries all insurances
Is well versed in proper installation.
Must own and use torque tools.
Always uses standoffs.
Always mounts module backs at least 6” off roof.
Always installs flashing.
Always pulls a permit. They are required.
Always supplies serial numbers and certificate of proper installation with details of those procedures.
Always uses American made products as much as possible
